This month we welcomed new and returning members of our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) to another year of youth leadership and philanthropy. Each year, YAC members meet at the beginning of the school year for an orientation to welcome new members, learn practical leadership and communication skills, and plan for the upcoming year.  
 
This year’s orientation was hosted by Camp Daggett, and their team led the YAC in a wide range of team building exercises. YAC members also had the chance to see the results of a few past grant awards firsthand (youth ropes course harnesses and helmets, life jackets, and more)!
