Our mission is to improve the quality of life for all people in Emmet County.  In order to work toward that mission, we accept resources from donors and then use a portion of the income earned from the investment of these gifts to help foster positive change through grants to local not-for-profit organizations, schools, and municipalities.

Gifts to the Community Endowment and the Youth Fund allow for the two annual competitive grantmaking cycles - to learn more about receiving funds for programs and projects in the community, visit the Applying for Grants page.  For examples of past grants, visit Grants in Your Community.

Donors who wish to invest in the continued education of local youth have set up scholarship funds that provide financial assistance to graduates each spring.  Visit the Scholarships page to learn more.

Since we started in 1991, we have distributed more than $7.6 million in grants and have championed hundreds of program and organizations in our area.  To join us in our efforts to improve the quality of life for all people in Emmet County, visit Giving.
