Community
Endowment and Youth Fund Grants
Spring 2010
Community
Foundation Announces Over $70,000 in Grant
Awards
The
Foundation's Board of Trustees recently
approved grants for the spring 2010 cycle
totaling $73,140 in support of programs
to benefit Emmet County residents. Community
Endowment and Youth Fund grant dollars were
used to leverage funding from donor advised
and field of interest funds within the Foundation
to achieve bigger impact.
The
Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation
accepts donations, which are used to build
a permanent endowment. The long term objective
of the Community Foundation is to manage
these funds responsibly in order to make
grants in support of a variety of charitable
programs in Emmet County.
